Obtaining a Chinese Visa

This blogpost is a reprint of November 20, 2013 post.

We will apply for the visas about 3 or 4 months before our date of travel. Also, I have arranged us all to apply together with an agency. I have used this agency for many years and find the company very helpful and pleasant to work with.

However, if someone would like to adventure out on their own with the visa…go for it! I'm always around to answer questions. If you will be applying with the group see below for the steps we will take.

How to apply for a Chinese visa for travelers: 1. Fill out the application form online and print it out. Handwriting is not acceptable according to the new policy. All forms must be typed on the computer, printed out and brought to the travel agency for processing. Chinese Embassy in the United States http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/ .
